The Anti-Corruption Action Center and Automaydan will give the lesson to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi within the framework of all-Ukrainian online school. Topic of the lesson is: “How to liquidate Kyiv District Administrative Court” (KDAC). Teachers-activists will also present online special project, which contains the most glaring examples of arbitrary behavior of Kyiv court.
When: Wednesday, June 17, 10 a.m.
Where: Office of the President.
- Vitaliy Shabunin, Head of the Board of the Anti-Corruption Action Center;
- Kateryna Butko, Automaydan activist, project coordinator at PROSUD.
Lesson plan. The student Volodya will learn what KDAC is and that existence of this discredited court is solely his responsibility. After all, the court can be disbanded only through the submission of regarding draft law to the Verkhovna Rada by the head of state.
They will remind Volodya about the most scandalous decisions of KDAC, the criminal case against its judges and the president’s promise to deal with this court:
“In general, I do not need anyone hand-raised. I am ready to deal with this issue. I am ready to sign the decree that will help to make justice regarding District Administrative Court … Deal!”, stated Zelenskyi at the press conference 8 months ago.
Volodya will also receive materials for his homework. Namely: online special project, which contains basic information about Kyiv District Administrative Court.
