On Wednesday, January 9, at 10:00 in the Ukrainian Crisis Media Center (Khreshchatyk 2), civic organizations present a joint list of candidates, who are not worthy the position of judges of the High Anti-Corruption Court.
DEJURE Foundation, Anti-Corruption Action Center, AutoMaidan and Transparency International Ukraine has analyzed candidates to the High Anti-Corruption Court and identified controversial applicants. According to the public opinion, only those candidates who has a crystal clear reputation should work in a new court.

The High Anti-Corruption Court will be able to start its work after appointment of at least 35 judges, 10 of which should be judges of the Appeal Chamber. The Supreme Court, namely the Cassation Criminal Court in its composition, shall remain the cassation instance for the decisions of the High Anti-Corruption Court.
It should be additionally noted that in June 2018, Parliament of Ukraine adopted the Law No. 7440 on the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine, which will deal exclusively with cases of top-level corruption.
